No he didn't die but she thinks he did when she sees him being stabbed. Her sister who is a medic nin managed to heal him before it was too late

Yeah ^^ I never intended on him dieing, it's just one of those dramatic moments that always show up in animes (like when everyone thought Neji and Choji were dead when they are after Sasuke)

You gotta love dramtic cliffhangers like that... Even if they are annoying at times. Good edi
