I never thought I'd be such a fangirl, especially when it comes to Gaara. ;-P I remember when I first saw him, before I watched Naruto, and I would see him in various places and hear descriptions of his personality and think, 'Why do girls love him? He's creepy and he kills people.' :\ Then I watched Naruto and at first thought of him as just another character. Then after we saw more of his past I started liking him. :-> Now he's my favorite.

I don't know if everyone moved past this or not but I noticed some comments referring to Gaara's 'eyeliner'...it's not eyeliner. As you all probably know when someone has a demon in them they usually take on some type of physical characterisitic similar to the demon. Like Naruto's whisker things on his face, Gaara has the dark rings around his eyes because of his demon NOT because of his choice in makeup...
