Yup, Mieko is the "ghost" of the house up in the hill. There is an old quaint house at the top of a hill that people say it's been haunted ever since the fire that killed the family living in it. They claim to have seen the ghost of the little girl inside... and they were half right.
Mieko is immortal, so she survived the fire and stayed in her house, aging slowly because of her power. She desperatly tries to befriend the kids at town but she always scares them by accident and ends up alone...
