No. Sasuke is growing vicously evil, and also, he has clung on to some of the emotions of Itachi. You would understand if you read the manga, far in it.

earwen has a point. Itachi was origanilly Orochimaru's target as his new host, but he was afraid of him so he settled for the weaker Sasuke. Maybe Sasuke doesn't know that. By the way, ITACHI ROCKS!!!

i would say Itachi is a master of planning a combat!! every fight he figth the enemy dont stand a chance and every time they think they got him they are just in hes jutsu or something and when Sasuke and itachi figths itachi could easly kild Sasuke fast if he would have used the second last jutsu at the beginning but itachi didnt plan to win aganst Sasuke he were only trying to get oh i cant spoil to much sorry if i did now
