If Ino didn`t take hold of Kin`s body, she might`ve attacked Sakura. So Ino did contribute. Also, like Asuma said, Ino`s jutsu is best used for stealth and spying. Ino`s not a bad ninja, she just doesn`t get assigned to missions that best suit her abilities. And Ino`s new jutsu, Mind Confusion technique (I think that`s what it`s called) is pretty effective when fighting more that one enemy.

but kin wasnt even going to fight as you can see she looked frightened( I think Kin is mad ugly) and she was scared of a stupid substitution that sakura did, they only took kin so the can take care of all the enemies and hold kin hostage so they can take thier scrolls not protect Sakura!

That`s true, but if Ino never took over Kin`s body, that would have been one more enemy running trying to kill someone. At least, with Kin under control, there was one less enemy threatening Sakura and co. And yeah, Kin was really ugly. And she got beat by a wall. That`s just dumb.
