Maybe if the kids hadn't run away from him in the first place, there'd be no reason for him to go all psychotic/monster crazy on everyone. Stupid people. He was so nice and sweet as a child and all he wanted was to be loved. Sad Poor thing. And may I take this opportunity to say that Yashamaru is my worst character ever? Yeah. If it wasn't for him, Gaara probably wouldn't have turned out the way he did and wouldn't have had to go through all that pain.
