i was chatting with my friend from japan about this yesterday...didnt you ever wonder why shigure is so nice to akito? shegure is in love with akito, but akito i a meany and is cheeting on shigure with the year of the hourse.the books are out in japanese first then english, my fiend told me what the said. AKITO IS A FEMALE. Akitos mother wanted to gain power in the sohama family so she raised akito as a boy. really people look at that face, that looks like a sexy female in drag to me.

Akito is very hot. But, um, oxTommyxo, i think you have some of your facts more than a little mixed up. I've read the volumes, and here's the deal: Shigure loves Akito. Rin, horse-san, is Haru's girlfriend. She offered Shigure use of her body in exchange for the way to break the curse (for Haru). Kureno is Akito's lover (ish). Ugh, read it yourself. It's too confusing. There are quite a few sites on the web with scanned, translated, pages.
