no its not incorrect. Chikane's is purple, Himeko's is red. They wear the wrong ones in the last few episodes

In the beginning, when they got the robes, Chikane wanted to wear Himeko's, just to try it on. Himeko had said no, because it might have angered the gods. Chikane took the robe and wore it as a "sign" that she was an Orochi, because she now had the freedom to "do what she wanted"
