They`re being shot at by arrows.... In this episode, Naruto goes off to find out more about their mission and breaks into a castle thingy  When they were told that Naruto was going to be killed, they ran off to help him, but if they didn`t go with the men quietly, they were going to be executed... So, since they didn`t go with them, they shot arrows at them
