I think that neither Kagome or Kikyo are perfect therefore not one or the other is better. Kagome is more carefree but she didn't have to go through many of the things that Kikyo went through. Kikyo on the other hand is so mysterious and cold that sometimes she come out as conceited. I do like the pairing between Kagome and Inuyasha but Inuyasha also has a history with Kikyo. If you look at it with and open mind you can see that both pairings have their ups and downs. It makes it more human.

It's hard to argue with that. So, Inu must leave them both. that I wouldn't mind...
