This was a sad episode...;-; And according to the timeskip, Naruto never became a chunin (I'm on 283, so I don't know if he became one later on). But yeah Naru-kun looks good here.

I agree, I like Naruto-kun in black better!! This is such a sad episode though... Also, The reason he didn't become a Chuunin is because although he won, he hadn't exactly exhibited the necessary qualities they were looking for in a Chuunin... like Shikamaru did... They said at the beginning of the final matches that no one could win and still make it, or people could win and still not make it... He's not mentally ready at this point for that responsibility...
