Oh that's part of the manga. You see in the manga Shimbo and Shimizu-san was having an ffair (they elope further into the series). Sooo Shimbo was gonna ask Shumizu-san to move into his apartment but Shimuzu-san got scared and stayed the night at Hideki's. This was the morning after.

well she wasn technically having an affair. Her danna had forgotten about her totally and left her for a pasokon. Shinbo empathised her and ended up with her (ok danna means husband are you happy?)
