Akito-san is a girl, read the manga. The manga is waaay better then the anime and much more informative. It's also not true that Akito-san isn't a bad person. Akito-san really wants all the attention to herself. Why do you think she hurt Ren and made love with Shigure? Acctually, Shigure did it to get back at Rin for sleeping with Haru...BUT Hatori and Shigure are using Tohru to make Akito better then the last 'God of the Zodiac'.
