eh? I think it's Misato since Hikari Doesn't have purplish hair... she has black. guess it's little mistake since misato doesn't have those "gem-hold ponytails". and only certain childs can pilot evas if they have enough good synch ratio with the eva. otherwise eva goes nuts and so on..

it's Hikari, you just have to have one thing in mind, it's a comic picture.

It's Haraki Hikari. In some Gainax artwork, Unit 05 is piloted by Hikari Horaki in an orange plugsuit, and Unit 06 by Kensuke Aida in an olive green plugsuit. Problem is just that they messed up the colour of her hair, it's a light brown colour really. It's NOT Misato.
