Exactly. No matter what he does, there is always something about him that lures you in. There's really no getting around it, but that is the beauty of Orochimaru's power. He can manipulate and deceive, then turn around and sell you a dream -- in which you will eat it like a piece of cake. And that's why I admire him so much.

Maybe it's just me, but I sincerely doubt if there will be another villain that will ever come close to attaining the level he has. Which is why I hope he's around for a long time. Because I would like for him to remain the constant thorn in Konoha's side. I also want to see the Sound Village develop, and become a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully, this isn't just wishful thinking.

Ughh... I don't like the fact that Itachi is supposed to be more powerful than him. Orochimaru should be the strongest character in the show.

Even though Orochimaru hinted that Itachi's strength is greater than his own, I am certainly not thrilled about it either. Perhaps it's just me, but I would tend to think with Orochimaru's status as one of the Legendary Sannin and knowledge of a vast array of jutsus -- that would give him some leverage over Itachi. But then again, it's just a matter of opinion.

Orochimaru will always be in a class of his own. When it comes to villains, this man completely raised the bar on what evil really is. I absolutely love the methods he uses to draw you in. He is mysterious, intriguing and dangerous all at once and yet...that's what causes you to like him even more. It's this type of ability that makes the character so great, until you find yourself literally overwhelmed. Orochimaru's legacy will definitely live on.

No, it doesn't sound stupid at all -- in fact it makes a lot of sense. I felt the same way. It was his personality as a cold and calculating individual, which sparked my interest in him. Not to mention, his manner of speech and extremely dark nature also sucked me in. From that moment on, I was absolutely hooked.

Personally, the role of ardent follower, devotee or a subordinate of his is not a bad thing at all -- I agree. The fact is with someone like him, it just comes with the territory.

Lord Orochimaru does not even have his old body.
